The Little Door

 

You built a wall to keep away your fears

One that had filled your eyes with tears

Afraid to greet people with open arms

Wary they'll one day do you harm

Loneliness versus a broken heart

Life does not need to be so hard

Behind the wall you wait and see

Who can one day set you free

Here I am

Not your night in shining armor

Just a guy with a sense of humor

With roses on bended knee

Would you open your little door for me?
